- Toothpaste is not just for cleaning your teeth. If your headlight casings are foggy and making it hard to see at night, spread toothpaste on the outside and wipe it clean with a soft microfiber cloth to remove the fog. Start seeing better in dark conditions!

- Want less air in your gas tank? When you're filling up at the pump, hold the trigger just about halfway to get the maximum amount of gas and the least amount of air possible.

- If you get stuck in the snow, ice, or mud, you can use the mats from the inside of your car to gain traction. Just place them under the tires in the direction you want to go and you'll be unstuck in no time!

- In order to stop your car doors from freezing shut, harden the door seals with cooking spray. Use the spray on rubber gaskets around your doors to make it harder for water to get in and freeze.

- If you have an unfortunate crack in your windshield, you can stop it from spreading further by coating the area in clear fingernail polish. When this dries, it will stop the crack from getting any worse.
